I laughed way too hard at this. pic.twitter.com/VSjwyr5ogz

All day long last Friday our local weather made it a point to work their listeners into a shear panic over the impending doom of the first snowfall fast approaching Detwa and the greater metropolitan area. With an expected 4-6, 6-8 inches of snow to soon start falling, life as we knew it was about to drastically change and of course if you do not have a shovel, salt, blankets, food and water already in your vehicle well, it was nice knowing you. I tuned up and gassed the snowblower, made sure the man cave fridge was loaded with beer and essential goodies and proceeded to enjoy a fine Friday evening. Saturday morning waking to find I was still alive I grabbed my snow shovel and pushed maybe an inch of the sticky white stuff off my driveway. I’m not saying that some outlying areas didn’t get a substantial amount of the white stuff and I do see where a few of the mid-west states took a pretty big winter storm wallop but, here on my little piece of the planet the hype once again far exceeded the outcome. Enjoy this our first day of December and last month of 2025. A Happy Monday to all and to all, ‘Cheers!’
